CM Punk Drops HEAVY WWE & TNA Hints

Both WWE and TNA played a part in CM Punk's recent MMA commentary appearance.

CM Punk knowingly dropped some heavy hints about both a return to WWE and a spot on the revamped TNA roster during a commentary appearance for MMA group CFFC.

The ex-AEW man reacted with a wide-eyed look when one of his co-hosts promised the night would be full of "Total Non-Stop Action". During the same sequence, that presenter also put real emphasis on the word "IMPACT" and glanced over at Punk - again, ol' CM acknowledged it.

That wasn't all. The other announcer also wore a WWE logo in his suit pocket, but that wasn't dropped into the conversation. It wasn't really hidden though. The entire WWE motif could be seen front and centre throughout the segment.

The rumour mill is going crazy about Punk's next move. WWE has moved to distance themselves from talk of a CM Punk comeback, but TNA chiefs have said they'd be willing to open discussions. Scott D'Amore's stance makes sense, but it's true WWE doesn't actually need Punk in 2023/2024.

Triple H might not be able to resist a few money-spinning matches in the end.
