CM Punk Says He Would "Love To See Brock Lesnar Back In The UFC"

And did he just add in a little dig against the WWE?

Punk Vs Lesnar CM Punk's team, Rousfusport, had a rough night Saturday at UFC 185, as Anthony Pettis was soundly beaten for the lightweight title by Rafael dos Anjos, but it was Punk who was once again in the news Monday, speaking to Fox Sports about his transition to MMA, and more specifically, about what he finds difficult, and the help he has received from former UFC and current WWE champion Brock Lesnar. In regards to Lesnar, he said perhaps the one thing the WWE really doesn't want to hear:
I'd love to see Brock back. I think it would be good for Brock, and it would just be fun to have him around.
While that may seem like just an off-the-cuff comment, Punk confirmed he has frequently been in contact with Lesnar over the past few months, specifically asking for advice on what Lesnar found most difficult in his transition to MMA. The answer?
I asked him what the hardest thing for him to do was; he's a super freak athlete, but something had to be difficult for him. I find it's the exact same thing I'm having difficulty with, and that's learning to let go. Striking, sparring is completely different. Someone's trying to punch me in the face, I'm trying to punch them in the face. But often I'll find I'm too light on guys if I'm rolling, my hips aren't heavy enough, it's like I'm trying to work with them like the old pro wrestling kicking in, and he had the same problem, so it's interesting to know that.
Of course, striking was something that Lesnar struggled with, both taking punches and throwing them - not at all surprising for someone with a strong amateur wrestling background. However, as Lesnar's contract negotiations continue, you can't help but wonder if perhaps the door is open for Lesnar to join Punk at Roufusport, which features some of the best strikers in the world. Beyond talk of Lesnar, however, Punk also had this to say about whether he ever tunes into WWE programming:
Nope, She'll tell me when I should watch something, like something she's excited about it, but she never does.
So is there really nothing A.J. is excited about in WWE land?
