CM Punk Tweets (& Deletes) Poll On Controversial New AEW Attire

CM Punk appeared to briefly ask his Twitter followers for their opinion on his wrestling attire last night, only to delete his poll within a couple of minutes.

As pointed out by Reddit user u/Minnale101, the 42-year-old put out a poll giving Twitter users three choices - long tights, trunks, and an Andre the Giant-esque singlet - before quickly taking it down. As seen below, trunks were the runaway winner at the time this happened:-

This comes following Punk's decision to wear full-length tights for his match with Darby Allin at All Out 2021, which was his first wrestling bout in over seven years. Adorned with motifs from the Chicago flag, the tights sparked surprise in the audience, who had perhaps expected Punk to show up in the trunks he worked in for the bulk of his WWE run.

Punk defeated Allin at All Out, putting the former TNT Champion down with a decisive GTS, doing so in his hometown. He then made peace with Darby and Sting in the aftermath.

Whether or not the above poll is a sign that Punk is considering changing his AEW attire already is open to interpretation.
