6. It's Only Cryptic If You Don't Know What He's Talking About
One of the more weirdly gossipy wrestling stories in the last couple years involved CM Punk, his then-girlfriend (now wife) AJ Lee, and TV sports personality Michelle Beadle when Beadle hosted the 2013 Tribute to the Troops special. Beadle and Punk had been social friends to some degree, but when she arrived at the taping with her friends, she greeted Punk with "Hey f**k face!" for no apparent reason. She insists it was something her friends all knew was a joke, but clearly he didn't if that was the case. It led to AJ dressing down Beadle in the locker room/telling her she was being disrespectful, and she came closer than you might expect to losing her job. Aside from the degree of how much it blew up and who knew what was a joke, everyone's side of the story (Punk's came weeks later) was pretty much of the same. Before the whole thing came out, Punk took to Twitter to vent. If one had to guess, it looks like he was talking about the response to AJ asking Beadle not to speak to her boyfriend that way, however she actually phrased it. Still, since the Beadle story wasn't out yet, it drew out a ton of speculation over what he was talking about since it had to be about the WWE office.
