Cody & AEW Troll Triple H With New "Throne Breaker" T-Shirt

All Elite Wrestling's WWE barbs continue with this new design.

All Elite Wrestling's Double Or Nothing's most divisive moment came as Cody made his entrance to face brother Dustin Rhodes in their critically-acclaimed bloodbath. A prop throne decorated with a Triple H-esque iron cross and skulls was unveiled at the top of the ramp before 'The American Nightmare' marched down, grabbed a sledgehammer, and smashed it to bits.

The stunt looked like a clear shot at Cody's former employers, and AEW have now capitalised on the moment by realising a commemorative t-shirt through Pro Wrestling Tees:-

While Cody's throne-breaking looked like an obvious dig, the former Stardust has denied these claims. While he acknowledged the reference to Triple H's WrestleMania 30 entrance, he told the media during Double Or Nothing's post-event press scrum that it was meant to be a message that he'd be a wrestler first and an executive second, more than anything else.

Regardless, the symbolism of Cody smashing such props should be immediately apparent to anyone with a working set of eyes. AEW and WWE will likely continue shooting barbs at each other throughout the year, and the pettier it gets, the more entertaining it will be.
