After news broke of Kevin Reilly departing WarnerMedia yesterday, AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes commented on the situation on Twitter.

Reilly was a major reason AEW managed to secure a TV deal with TNT and his exit was described by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer as a 'gigantic story'. Many fans are now wondering what this will mean for All Elite Wrestling going forward.

In response to one particularly concerned fan asking if they should be worried about the promotion's future, Cody tweeted, 'No. We have been blessed to have had so many viewers(even opposed), thus the 3+ year extension. It’s a great partnership!'

If AEW continue to bring in more viewers and impress those in charge at TNT, it looks like they'll have nothing to worry about as far as staying on television goes.

This week the promotion scored their highest rating in months as 901,000 viewers tuned into the show, while 753,000 opted to check out NXT instead. They also landed a 0.36 score in the vital 18-49 demographic, which was the highest they'd achieved since February.

Will AEW be able to improve on these numbers this week as the Wednesday Night War rages on?
