Could This Scrapped WWE Match Finally Happen In AEW?

AEW could avoid the "bureaucracy and red tape" that stopped Vince McMahon and WWE.

Shaquille O'Neal has told PopCulture that "bureaucracy and red tape" stopped WWE from promoting his own personal dream match opposite Paul Wight years ago. Then, Shaq went on to suggest that the pair wouldn't experience the same kind of problems in AEW.

The NBA legend desperately wants to mix it with the ex-Big Show.

Shaq teased that Tony Khan could make this happen sooner rather than later - he said he planned to workout hard over the summer, then come back to AEW in time for a showdown with "Mr. Paul". A bout between the giant duo is something Vince McMahon toyed with for years before Show left WWE earlier this year.

O'Neal worked a mixed tag bout (alongside Jade Cargill vs. Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet) on the 3 March edition of Dynamite. During the match, Shaq took a stiff table bump and says he's "still kind of sore" after it.

Even so, he refuses to rule out one more showing opposite Wight, and he reckons AEW is the ideal battleground for it.

Would you like to see Shaq and Wight wrestle in AEW? Or, do you think it's something the company should avoid?
