In some unfortunate, current TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher appears to have suffered an injury during last night's AEW Collision.

Per Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline, Fletcher left Cedar Rapids' Alliant Energy Power House - the location of Collision - in a walking boot. While the specifics of the injury are unknown right now, Alvarez added that the injury is very much a legitimate one.

At Collision, the Protostar teamed with Mark Davis to pick up a win over the Rascalz's Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier. In terms of when this injury occurred, it looks as though it may have happened as Davis landed on Kyle's leg after the two had each taken out a Rascal a piece. Kyle did finish the match, and it was Davis getting the win for the long-time Aussie Open tandem.

Prior to that match against the Rascalz, last night's Collision had seen Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, and Kazuchika Okada discussing winning back the AEW Trios Titles, while Fletcher also made it clear that he has MJF and the AEW World Championship in his crosshairs, too. Here's hoping this injury isn't a serious one and that this isn't something that forces Kyle onto the sidelines.

It goes without saying, best wishes to Kyle from all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling.

On a related note, we were fortunate enough to grab some time with Kyle and Syke Blue earlier this week to discuss AEW All In 2026 and plenty, plenty more.
