Mark Henry refuses to believe that controversial former WWE and AEW star CM Punk is a locker room cancer who irks everyone he works with.

Speaking via Busted Open Radio, Henry said that Punk clearly still loves pro wrestling. For proof, Mark said fans should just take a gander at the man's social media feeds - "If you didn’t love it and you didn’t really want to do it, you wouldn’t post. You wouldn’t have any interactions on social media at all. You’d just let it go".

The interviewer also thinks it's heartening to see workers like FTR publicly come out and support Punk during all of his ongoing drama with Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Tony Khan and All Elite generally. Henry called that "refreshing", and said it's important for wrestlers to have one another's backs even when serious stuff is going on behind the scenes.

WWE's Seth Rollins recently called Punk a locker room cancer, but Mark doesn't share that view. In fact, he'd like to see everyone get along and Punk return to the AEW fold sooner rather than later.
