Dolph Ziggler has sensationally pitched either a "Best Of Three" or a "Best Of Seven" series of matches vs. UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

The WWE lifer told TMZ Sports that he'd love to step into the ring opposite McGregor at WrestleMania someday, and taunted the MMA man by saying "that’s just where the money is but not everybody can go and back it up".

Dolph pointed out that Conor had "called out" WWE and pro wrestling in the past. Now, he's challenging McGregor to put his money where his mouth is and agree to some sort of elongated series against him under the Endeavor Group umbrella.

Ziggler said he'd be willing to work matches/fights inside the Octagon, followed by a boxing exhibition and a pure wrestling match. If that "Best Of Three" series doesn't suit, then Dolph would happily stretch it out into a seven-bout series that incorporated other WWE gimmicks.

Ladder, Hell In A Cell, Extreme Rules - nothing would be off the table.

This unlikely scenario sounds more like fantasy warfare that'd happen in WWE 2K23 than in real life, but Ziggler is hopeful of doing something with McGregor on TV.
