Curtis Axel Is 2nd Name Confirmed For WWE Royal Rumble 2016

Will Axelmania run wild again for the man who was never eliminated last year?

Curtis Axel has been revealed as the second participant into this year's 30-man WWE Royal Rumble. He follows Big Show into the confirmed list of names after the Giant entered himself on last week's Raw. WWE.com made the Curtis Axel announcement this weekend with the following teaser;
Big Show emerged on Raw to become the first competitor in this year€™s 30-man melee, and we€™ve since learned that Curtis Axel €” who claims he was never eliminated from last year€™s Royal Rumble Match €” will also enter the fray (even though he evidently never left it). Which other Superstars will announce their participation in the weeks ahead? Expect more Royal Rumble news on Raw.
After how WWE turned Axel never being eliminated from last year's Rumble into an angle which sadly never lived up to its potential, you can pretty much be rest assured that they'll make him the comedy act of this year's match. If he isn't eliminated after 5 seconds, probably as the 3rd entrant, then the universe just wouldn't feel right. As mentioned in the press release, more names are expected to be confirmed for the Rumble on tomorrow night's Raw. WWE Royal Rumble 2016 takes place from the Amway Centre in Orlando, Florida on January 24th, 2016.
