Daniel Bryan's 10 Best Matches

8. Daniel Bryan/Kane/Ryback vs. Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns (December 16, 2012)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-YpQfFBjPA Going into TLC 2012, many decision makers in the WWE were nervous about putting the Shield and Ryback in such a high profile match. With CM Punk sidelined by an injury, the match became the focal point of the show. The Shield had collectively debuted on WWE television just one month prior at Survivor Series, and many in the company considered them relatively "green" (wrestling lingo for unexperienced) and not ready for this kind of spotlight. Ditto went for Ryback, who although receiving an unstoppable monster style push, was still learning his craft at this point. Step in Daniel Bryan, the grizzly ring general, who would help orchestrate one of the top WWE matches of 2012. Everyone came through as they were expected to, and the WWE fans were left with a memorable masterpiece. As most TLC matches do, this outing featured all kinds of high spots and career threatening maneuvers. At one point, Seth Rollins took a fall through a table that looked to nearly decapitate his head. At another point, Kane took a spear through the ringside barrier courtesy of Reigns following a chop block from Rollins (a fantastic series of moves). In the end, the match ended when Bryan took a power bomb off the middle rope through a table from Reigns and Ambrose and was pinned. This PPV outing went a long way toward proving that the members of the Shield were going to be a major player in the WWE from this point forward, and it was Daniel Bryan who had a major hand in making that possible.
