AEW's Darby Allin got married over the weekend... and it sounds absolutely insane!

Prior to last night's Forbidden Door PPV, AEW's Darby Allin got married on Saturday... and it sounds like the most Darby Allin wedding imaginable.

As he revealed when doing the press rounds for Double or Nothing last month, Darby proposed to his now-wife Sara Erickson while he was at the top of Mount Everest in May of last year. The two had known each other since high school, and Allin has even said that one of their first dates was to go bungee jumping.

With Tony Khan, Sting, Diamond Dallas Page, MJF, Swerve Strickland, Thunder Rosa, and Brody King amongst those in attendance, Darby and Sara got married in Seattle, Washington on Saturday. In clips that have surfaced online, Darby's father was chopped by Darby and Brody King during this celebration, and Darby was also slammed onto thumbtacks by his mother.

Where Forbidden Door is concerned, Darby Allin was part of the 12-man steel cage match that pitted Team Briscoe against Team MJF, with Team Briscoe emerging victorious, partly in thanks to Andrade El Idolo screwing over MJF. As a result, Mark Briscoe has earned himself a shot at MJF's AEW World Championship on this week's Dynamite.

As for Darby and Sara's wedding, congratulations to the happy couple from all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling.
