Dixie Carter Filming For Future WWE Network Project?
The former TNA President is teasing SOMETHING on social media.
Former TNA President Dixie Carter hasn't been active in the wrestling business since leaving her old position in January 2017, when Impact Wrestling was bought out by Anthem Sports and Entertainment, but it looks like she might be on the verge of working with WWE.
Yesterday saw Carter announce via Instagram that she had spent the whole day filming. The location? WWE's home state: Connecticut.
Other posts saw Dixie comment on her "rainy night in" in Stamford, which is where WWE headquarters is located, and put Monday Night Raw struggler EC3 (her kayfabe nephew back in TNA) over as a potential champion.
Carter has previously appeared as part of a WWE 24 Network special focused on Kurt Angle that aired in July 2017. She didn't explicitly state that she was filming new content for the promotion, but the way her Instagram posts are presented suggests she wanted to nudge people in that direction, whatever her motives.
TNA's President for the best part of 15 years, Carter drew widespread criticism for the way she ran the promotion throughout her tenure, and will forever remain among the most divisive figures in Impact history long after the company is gone.
