Drew McIntyre: Rhea Ripley's A** Is The Only Thing That Compares To My Social Media Game (WWE News)

Drew McIntyre has stated that Rhea Ripley's "a**" draws the most powerful engagement in WWE - and is the only thing stronger than his social media game in terms of numbers.

McIntyre's comments came during an appearance on Logan Paul's show, Impaulsive. Responding to Paul praising his socials, Drew said (h/t Fightful):

“I’m here to take everybody out. It’s amazing to watch it grow. It’s unbelievable the power of social media. I learned being outside the company, specifically the last two years, the power of it and watching the platform grow. From an engagement perspective, the most powerful in the company besides Rhea Ripley’s a**. I’ve seen the numbers. These are facts.”

Rhea Ripley herself addressed the comments on X/Twitter a few hours later:

McIntyre's penchant for creating viral content arguably peaked at WrestleMania 40, where he grabbed a phone and tweeted "bored at work" during a match with Seth Rollins. One year later, he recreated it with another selfie at 'Mania 41, captioned "still bored at work."

On this moment, Drew told Paul:

“Nobody knew I was going to do it… it came about that day,” McIntyre said. “My buddy and I were in the gym… and I was just like, ‘Man, like a match… Tweeted, like, during a match, they filmed yourself and then posted it… that was cool.’ And I was like, ‘Someone did it in the match? Imagine, was it Mania?'”

Drew's Impaulsive appearance effectively served as SummerSlam 2025 promotion. He and Paul are set to team against Randy Orton and singer Jelly Roll at the 2 and 3 August stadium show, in one of the highest-profile matches on the WWE SummerSlam card. Ripley, meanwhile, challenges for Naomi's Women's World Championship in a Triple Threat match also featuring IYO SKY.
