Drew McIntyre SHOOTS HARD On CM Punk During WWE Raw

Drew McIntyre's WWE Raw target could scarcely have been more obvious.

Drew McIntyre barely attempted to disguise his shots at CM Punk during last night's WWE Raw, taking aim at the controversial star a little over a week after reportedly reacting angrily to Punk's Survivor Series 2023 comeback.

A Raw promo saw McIntyre blast unnamed "liars, hypocrites, cowards, just plain idiots," doing so one week after Seth Rollins had explicitly referred to Punk as a "hypocrite" in his own Raw promo. As "CM Punk" chants filled the building, Drew quipped that he "could be talking about anybody."

In the Scot's own words:

"It feels like everyone's lost their mind recently. Liars, hypocrites, cowards... just plain idiots. Apparently, you can get fired, released, leave, do what you want for a bunch of time, come back to the company, and you're instantly forgiven these days! I could be talking about anybody."

Punk was not on last night's Raw, though he is advertised for next week's show - as well as this Friday's Rampage.

McIntyre is understood to have been legitimately upset at Survivor Series, with Punk's return among the reported reasons. Last night's lines making it to Raw in the first place mean they were likely scripted, potentially as an attempt at generating heat from the story, though this is yet to be confirmed.
