Ahead of their upcoming tag team match at SummerSlam, Drew McIntyre has told Logan Paul how 85% of the current WWE talent pool don't look like they should be on the company's roster.

McIntyre and Paul are due to team up to face Randy Orton and Jelly Rolly at SummerSlam next month, and to help promote that match, the Scottish Warrior stopped by for an appearance on the latest episode of Logan's Impaulsive podcast.

When discussing today's WWE roster, Drew didn't hold back:

"It drives me nuts when I see some of our guys on some of these huge public platforms, huge TV shows, because these days, no offence, but 85% of our guys don't look like they should be in WWE."

The three-time WWE World Champion continued:

"My buddies contact me and go, 'Yo, I've just turned on the wrestling for a while to see what you're up to. It's cool to see people. Oh, Logan Paul's on there, and he's killing it. Roman Reigns, what a freaking star when he comes on the screen, comes right off the screen. [Drew's] a freaking giant. There's these other guys that look like they should be serving me my fast food, McDonald's or whatever, and honestly, I could kick their ass. It takes me out of it.'"

McIntyre explained that he tells his friends those talents are good wrestlers, and that his pals will eventually connect with them, but added how they might not watch WWE long enough for that to happen.

Wrapping up this portion of his Impaulsive appearance, Drew McIntyre had an emphatic message for those colleagues in his crosshairs:

"Jesus, guys, get in the freaking gym!"

In terms of physique and appearance, the 40-year-old also noted how he's recently hired a personal trainer and nutritionist for the first time in his career, which has already resulted in McIntyre gaining 15 lbs in the past five weeks. And as part of that, DM Hunk has been cramming in a mammoth 6,000 calories per day!

As mentioned, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul square off against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll at WWE SummerSlam, which emanates from New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on the weekend of 2 and 3 August.
