EC3 Interview: Signing With ROH, Jay Briscoe, Controlling His Narrative, Leaving WWE, More

What's freethenarrative.com all about?

EC3: Freethenarrative.com is the hub for The Narrative. I encourage you to join our email list. I will not spam you, trust me, I do not have the time, but it's one way to communicate with fans and people that want to control their narrative. Hop onto the website right now.

We have something I'm testing out, which is a way to create content and distribute it. If you jump over to my wearable propaganda section, that's merchandise by the way, on freethenarrative.com, you can get a nice rapture skull shirt. You'll have access to The Narrative Briefs, which I co-created with my partner The Narrator. It's four segments, a couple of promos, a cinematic fight... I don't want to say cinematic match because those have jumped the shark way too long ago. We're just trying to give a new perspective and try new things that we hope to expand up. I want to create change and I can't expect anyone to create change unless I do it myself.

What are your thoughts heading into this Grudge match with Jay Briscoe?

EC3: I am absolutely thrilled to be getting my hands on Jay Briscoe. To be honest, 100 percent transparent, I think Jay Briscoe is top five in the industry and he has been for a very long time and I don't think he gets the recognition, perhaps the online swarms should give him. He's one of the finest talents I've never had the chance of combating wits with and then in the ring at Ring of Honor's 19th [Anniversary Show], I will battle him.

It is truly a test to see if honor is real because for a very long time as I watch this industry degrade itself. I've been in corporate wrestling brands, I've been associated with three-letter brands for so long that I do not find honor to be real. I had to come to Ring of Honor where honor is in the name and put that name to the test and I think the best test is Jay Briscoe.
