Elektra Lopez returned to WWE television on last night's NXT, embarking on a new, solo direction after attacking Indi Hartwell and newcomer Sol Ruca.

Hartwell defeated Ruca in a short match that went a little over a minute. Lopez jumped the victory from behind, putting her down, then went after Ruca as well. Clad entirely in black, Elektra slipped out of the ring, declaring "La Madrina is back!" down the camera before making her exit.

Lopez had been away from WWE television since August, when she "left" NXT along with Legado Del Fantasma stablemates Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde, doing so in support of the ousted Santos Escobar. This came following Escobar's Loser Leaves Town defeat to Tony D'Angelo.

This angle appeared to forecast Legado moving up to the main roster. This eventually happened on the 7 October episode of SmackDown, albeit without Lopez. Zelina Vega appeared to take Elektra's spot in the group, leading Escobar, Wilde, and Del Toro in their attack on Hit Row.

It was later reported that while WWE originally planned on keeping Lopez with Legado on the main roster, this was dropped. New, Elektra looks set to continue her run in developmental.
