Conspicuous by her absence on last week's WWE SmackDown was Elektra Lopez, who was nowhere to be seen as her Legado Del Fantasma stablemates debuted on the blue brand, replaced, seemingly, by the returning Zelina Vega.

Legado's Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde made their mark alongside Vega, taking Hit Row out in their main roster debut. That the stable was getting called up was reported on the day of the show. Zelina's involvement, however, was not.

Before SmackDown, PWInsider's Mike Johnson reported that while WWE originally planned on having Lopez arrive on SmackDown with the rest of Legado, this was dropped. The creative for Legado Del Fantasma changed at some point in the 24 hours prior to the show. Now, Elektra is out, and Vega is in, despite Lopez remaining with Legado when they walked out of NXT 2.0 with Escobar earlier this summer.

Dave Meltzer has since corroborated Johnson's report, stating on Wrestling Observer Radio that everybody was under the impression that Lopez would be with Legado - until WWE changed their mind.

There is currently no word on what Elektra's WWE role will be going forward. Signed to WWE since June 2021, she had been a Legado Del Fantasma member since last August.
