Enzo And Big Cass's ROH Run May Be Over Already

Apparently, you can't teach job security either.

It seems Enzo Amore and Big Cass's scarcely believable Ring Of Honor association may be over already.

The pair hit the news over WrestleMania 35 weekend when - just hours after Bret Hart had been attacked by a fan for real across town at WWE's Hall of Fame - the pair jumped the barrier at the G1 Supercard to lay out The Briscoes and Bully Ray.

The intrusion was entirely pre-planned, with ROH seemingly intending to use the tag team within their division. However, it's now looking as though the company have had a change of heart.

Enzo & Cass were at neither of the ROH shows in Pittsburgh or Columbus this past weekend, and according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, they are not currently scheduled for any future appearances with the company.

Though the duo's reunion a fortnight ago certainly caused a stir, it was reportedly unpopular amongst staff behind the scenes. Meltzer wrote in his latest newsletter that the plan was for Enzo and Cass to create the illusion of a real invasion by getting the angle over with as quickly as possible - but instead, they ensured the spotlight shone on themselves by instigating a lengthy brawl.

Speaking with Wrestling Inc, PCO also revealed that the Guerillas of Destiny were less than pleased with their match being spoiled by the external assailants.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
