WWE's new SmackDown Executive Director, Eric Bischoff, finally returned to television at last night's Raw Reunion, having relocated to Samford, Connecticut for his new position last week.

A brief backstage appearance saw him pitch that Maria Kannelis "come on over to SmackDown." Mrs. K then turned to her husband Mike, chastising him for not putting lotion on her pregnant belly to continue their ongoing cucking storyline, with Maria claiming that she couldn't be their family's bread-winner if stretch marks prevented her from modelling. Cue: a Ron Simmons "damn!" to close.

Could this lead to a storyline in which Bischoff splits the couple by bringing Maria to the blue brand? We'll find out soon enough, though previous reports have suggested he won't have an onscreen role in WWE. Nonetheless, such an angle would at least reflect his backstage role, though it's hard to see him or Raw counterpart Paul Heyman becoming true onscreen authority figures.

In other Bischoff-related news, the former WCW executive has taken to his 83 Weeks podcast to address rumours on his start date, claiming that he was never supposed to commence his new role before July 22 - IE: last night.
