Every AEW Wrestler Ranked From Worst To Best - After One Year

33. Joey Janela

Joey Janela
AEW

The thing about criticising Joey Janela is that the man doesn't give a single f*ck what any internet windbag has to say. His most vociferous haters scream hilariously into the void, gotten to by a wrestler who's going to do his thing regardless of who thinks he's too indie, sloppy, or wreckless to be featured on national television, and that's part of his charm.

That isn't to say there aren't valid criticisms of Janela's AEW work, it's just that most are hysterical over the top.

A creative self-starting individual, Janela's work could stand to be cleaner and he has rarely been a focused figure in AEW, though he has always delivered when asked for a big performance. Matches against Kenny Omega and Cody proved 'The Bad Boy' is more than a mere indie buzz-maker.

32. Christopher Daniels

Christopher Daniels this is not flattering man
AEW

Christopher Daniels isn't the performer he once was. This is hardly a controversial statement given that he is 50 years old and has knees held together by spit and chewing gum, though it could have been a major issue if the SoCal Uncensored man wasn't such a smart worker.

'The Fallen Angel' has slotted into a role similar to Dustin Rhodes in that he's mostly booked as a sympathetic, broken down babyface who fights valiantly before falling to a rising heel threat. He's good at it, and with Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky carrying the tag team load, this'll like be his job until retirement.

31. Marko Stunt

Marko Stunt
AEW

Marko Stunt is tremendous at getting his ass kicked. That's why he comes close to scratching the top 30.

If 'Mr. Pint Size' was being presented as an unrealistically competitive wrestler against guys like Lance Archer, Brodie Lee, and MJF, that'd be a massive problem. He isn't, though. Stunt gets the sh*t kicked out of him by these guys, mounting only slithers of offense through superior speed and evasiveness before getting put down. He is a job guy on par with WWE's Leon Ruff

Stunt does everything his employers do of him and does it well. The beatings he takes make him together than any witless doughnut to ever crow about him on Twitter, too.
