Every AEW Wrestler Ranked From Worst To Best - After One Year

3. Hangman Page

The most spectacular career turnaround in AEW's young history belongs to Hangman Page, who was dead in the water as a failed vanilla babyface before being reinvented as a hard-drinking man of the people.

Page is relatable now. His character is simple, unpretentious, and motivated by the right reasons. Who can't relate to wanting to strike out on their own after escaping a system that was failing them? That is what Hangman has done by shunning The Elite, and he is much stronger for it.

From character work to his in-ring performances, everything about Page has gone up a notch since Chris Jericho felled him at All Out. He now stands with the wrestling world at his feet. On his current trajectory, 2021 will belong to him - and it's hard to imagine anyone stopping his surge.
