New Year Dash!! 2019 saw Bullet Club's 'Crown Jewel' grab announcer Kevin Kelly's microphone and shout "new year, new Chase," as he and Yujiro Takahashi re-aligned with their estranged stablemates having defeated Toa Henare and Tomoaki Honma earlier in the evening.

It was a nice moment for the talented 28-year-old. Long positioned as BC's primary pin-eater, his in-ring fundamentals are as solid as his work ethic is strong, and while it's unlikely he'll ever be elevated beyond the midcard, it'd be great to see Chase Owens play a bigger role in 2019. Leave the jobbing to Yujiro.
