26. Race To Witch Mountain

Every single critic lashed this film by using some sort of "Race" play on words. It didn't get out of neutral gear, or it goes backwards, or it spins its wheels, or it goes off the tracks yada yada yada film nerds yada yada.

Praise did come Johnson's way for his central performance doing all it could to prop the rest of the film up, even if everything around him was mediocre at best. He delivered Disney a passable slice of family fun as the rest of Hollywood began to wonder how much weight his broad shoulders might be able to carry.
