Every Impossible Wrestling Return Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Shawn Michaels

A teacher versus student clash with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX, built on the heel turn at Hell In A Cell 2013?

How about a WrestleMania dream match opposite AJ Styles, or perhaps a return to the Alamodome for Royal Rumble 2017?

Or - or - how about a bald Shawn Michaels ripping Kane's mask and wig off in the sweltering Saudi Arabia sun?

That's what you got, and to be fair to the man, Shawn himself lowered your expectations and said various coded euphemisms for "I am doing for this for the money, put your star ratings away lads". He told fans to expect a "greatest hits" set, and the DX Vs. Brothers of Destruction match at Crown Jewel wasn't even that. It was an injurious farce in which Michaels actually did well to both hold the wreck together and not badly hurt himself when the Undertaker was too busy trying to get a strand of hair out of his eyes to catch a dive.

When it was done, Shawn slouched by the turnbuckles and, naturally, stared into the abyss, wondering what he was capable of. He deduced "nothing anymore" and relayed this to Triple H with a self-deprecating "We're too old for this sh*t".

Triple H, his pectoral muscle hanging off, said "Speak for yourself mate, I'll be working the longest match at 'Mania again next year".
