Every Men's WWE Money In The Bank 2021 Participant Ranked Least To Most Likely To Win
Who's coming out with a guaranteed title shot?!
World Wrestling Entertainment is a very inconsistent company, and it can often be tough to predict what they will do next.
Spontaneous creative ideas and deliberate swerves have been a staple of the promotion for some time now, but there are at least a few things that fans can expect and look forward to. The most prominent examples include The Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, but there's also the annual tradition of crowning a new holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Money In The Bank is a constantly exciting prospect, as it almost always comes with the promise of shaking up the main event scene and pushing someone who might not have received a title shot by conventional means. This year looks set to test the limit regarding athletics, storytelling and spectacle, but who will be coming out of it with a guaranteed title shot?
As stated earlier, WWE can be very unpredictable. Still, they tend to return to a certain creative well very often, and judging by their confidence in these wrestlers, it can be very straightforward to assess who will be reaching for that brass ring and who'll be falling behind.
8. John Morrison
It's still tough to believe that WWE didn't capitalise on John Morrison during his initial run. The guy has an incredibly exciting in-ring presence, a bona fide Rockstar look and had some pretty heavy momentum during the late to early 2010s. After he left the company in 2011, it seemed that he'd forever be a missed opportunity. But, his return to SmackDown in 2020 seemed like the chance to get it right finally. Oh, how those dreams have died.
Morrison's position in WWE as of right now is to play second fiddle to The Miz. He hasn't found any significant singles success, and it makes you wonder why the company even decided to bring him back if they just wanted to make him a side character. His position in Money in the Bank might seem promising, but those who know how WWE has used him before can understand why he's there.
Simply put, Morrison's place in the match is to deliver some exciting spots without taking the briefcase. He's showed off in ladder matches many times and always performs some thrilling feats, so it's safe to say he's only there to deliver on the spectacle quota.
