Every NJPW G1 Climax Entrant Ranked From Least To Most Likely To Win

Nagata's entry into this year's G1 came with the sombre caveat that this would indeed be his last.

Traditional thinking is that Nagata will do as so many veterans have done before, entering the tournament with the sole objective of putting over the younger talent he is paired with. If Jushin Thunder Liger's final BOSJ is any indication, Blue Justice won't be finishing the block stages with more than one or two victories.

On the other hand, New Japan could try to develop a feel-good story around the veteran, making it seem as though he could do the unthinkable.

At this stage, however, a Nagata G1 victory truly is unimaginable.
