Managing the blonde b*stards in Memphis during an incredibly heated rivalry with Jerry Lawler, Heyman's run with Austin Idol and Tommy Rich peaked during an amazing steel cage match with 'The King' in 1987.

Idol and Lawler had a Hair Vs Hair match in the confines of the steel to stop any interference, but Heyman's plan to have Rich hide under the ring the entire day worked a treat. The trio battered and humiliated the local hero, but the manager suffered the worst of their eventual comeuppance when he was brutalised in a scaffold match payoff against Lawler and partner Bill Dundee.
