Every Star Of The Last WCW Nitro: Where Are They Now?

9. Sean O'Haire

It was a tragic end for Sean O'Haire: he died by suicide on September 8, 2014 after battling depression and substance abuse issues that manifested in several, grim brushes with the law.

The shame that was his wrestling career obviously pales in contrast, but O'Haire was a very promising talent who never fulfilled it. His dropped 'Devil's Advocate' persona was a lamentable 'What if?' scenario; it was a very interesting premise for a wrestling character that was wasted, despite the piqued interest of the fandom. After his WWE release, O'Haire ventured east, but it just didn't happen for him there, either. He entered the MMA circuit following the collapse of his wrestling career, and fared little better.

A good talker with a tremendous physique, if there's any consolation to his life, it's that he arguably failed through a broken system, and not on merit.
