Every Star Of The Last WCW Nitro: Where Are They Now?

17. Rey Mysterio Jr.

Rey left WCW as one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet, and will one day exit WWE as one of the greatest of all time.

Incredibly, at 44 years of age, and having pioneered a whirlwind, damaging ring style in the U.S. after starting out at 14, that day is distant blip on the horizon.

Rey transcended every cliché imposed on WWE by becoming a true triumph of the post-Attitude Era. A distinct and incredible performer with the ability to sell and excite - the very essence of a pro wrestling babyface, advanced - Rey crafted a seminal WWE legacy. He then succumbed to age and injury and overexposure, left, and then returned as if he had preserved himself in amber and not entered yet more gruelling, acclaimed, ageless performances on the Indy circuit at the mid-point of the 2010s.

Rey is every bit the superhero he is marketed as.
