Every Time Jushin Liger Unmasked Ranked From Worst To Best

3. Vs BADBOY Hido - 2006

Kishin Liger
NJPW

Slightly different in that Jushin Liger had announced Kishin's intended appearance ahead of time, the clash with BADBOY Hido at a Korakuen Hall promoted between NJPW and the Counter Terrorism Unit was hideously violent because Kishin's promoted presence had promised it.

As usual, Liger's identity being compromised triggered the switch - Hido had gone to disdainful measures to rattle the legend, cutting his hair following a beatdown weeks earlier.

Bloody and grinning in-between wild roars, Kishin fired back from being attacked with scissors, using steel chairs, tables and barbed wire bats en route to gaining a measure of revenge over the cocky younger star.

A trademark of all his appearances, Kishin stopped just short of murdering his opponent, missing an attack with a spike that ultimately went deep into the wood of a table instead of his opponent's flesh/ A brainbuster on an open steel chair was good enough to put Hido away that night. He's still waiting to make connection with that sharpened implement..
