Every Whitewashed WWE Survivor Series Teams Ranked - From Worst To Best
2. Jake Roberts, Jimmy Snuka & The Rockers - 1990
There might be an element of bias in this, but when this writer started watching WWF these four guys were up there in his favourites. It came as a great surprise to find out that they were whitewashed at the 1990 edition of Survivor Series, and even greater surprise when looking at the men who perpetrated the clean sweep; Rick Martel, Warlord and Power & Glory (Hercules & Paul Roma). Survivor Series 1990 was a unique event, and not just because of the debut of the Undertaker. All of the survivors from the elimination matches went into one big elimination match in the main event, to decide the ultimate survivors. Looking back, it would seem that Martel and co swept The Vipers clean in order to stack the odds against Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior. Still, this was a team of incredibly popular mid to upper mid card guys at the time. A surprising result to say the least.
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
