Every Wrestler At AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 - Where Are They Now?
3. Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega's start in AEW was... well, let's just say "shaky".
One half of Double or Nothing 2019's main event, Omega went on a massive losing streak in the early days of AEW, which is not what fans wanted to see from The Best Bout Machine.
His matches were still good - see the Lights Out match at Full Gear for reference - but this wasn't the Kenny that fans were expecting when the company was launched.
His 2020 has been a little better. His Iron Man match with PAC was really good and he was also part of that incredible tag bout at Revolution (as one half of the tag team champions), but you still get the feeling that this isn't the Kenny Omega that was breaking star-ratings with Okada in New Japan.
Omega heads into the second Double or Nothing event as part of the Stadium Stampede match against The Inner Circle. Whilst this match should be a lot of fun, again, it's not what we'd hoped for Kenny in this new venture.
However, let's not get too down about this. Omega has still been one of the company's best performers and AEW has a long way to go yet. Let's have some faith in Kenny here, because he's definitely earned it.
