WWE decided to throw the towel in on the huge Dabba-Kato after approx seven years of trying to find the right spot for him on NXT and the main roster. He's been Babatunde, he's been Commander Azeez, and he's also been Kato. Now, big Dabba is seeking work outside the TKO-inspired bubble.
Wonder if Shane McMahon still has an underground fighting ring?
Seriously though, nothing really clicked for this monster on WWE's watch. His highest-profile role came alongside Apollo Crews as Azeez, but even that failed to yield anything of note between the ropes. Dabba-Kato was good for standing around looking mean and not much else, it seems.
