Someday, the above picture will be thrust up on screen during Ethan Page's own WWE Hall Of Fame induction. Maybe. It's from TNA's Hard To Kill 2021 pay-per-view. On that show, 'All Ego' ran a Mortal Kombat-style tribute that included him having his heart ripped out by alter ego The Karate Man. He knows karate, don't you know?

Yes, it was OTT and hammier than the piggy bank from Toy Story, but Ethan somehow made it entertaining. There's no point in trying to portray this as even remotely serious though. Page himself was having the best time getting all cinematic and probably living out scenes he'd acted in his bedroom as a teenager in between rounds as badasses like Johnny Cage or Sub-Zero.

Later, Ethan referred to this experiment as "hot garbage" during interviews, and said he didn't even want The Karate Man gimmick to appear on Impact programming at all. He bemoaned the editing, and described the production as "lazy". So, Page wasn't fond of his Hard To Kill moment, but TNA fans have since held it aloft as one of the most outlandish (and fun) memories from a unique time for the company.

'All Ego' can say he "died" in TNA then inked a deal with AEW. Once he was ready, Page then jumped from AEW to WWE and has since become a success on NXT. Maybe WWE's working relationship with TNA can repair the damage caused by his latter day struggles behind the scenes with the promotion.

Bringing back Karate Man might be a stretch, right enough.
