Rey Mysterio became Rookie of the Year by dazzling the tape traders with his mind-melting, futuristic approach to lucha libre. He became a legend by developing the ability to sell, through a friggin' mask, and convincing the fans to live and die with him like precious few others.

If he isn't in a Hall of Fame, that Hall is worthless: the man is living legend and even in 2023 is a super-dynamic workhorse who could probably still work to a ***** level if he wasn't used in great soap opera cheese.
