Every Wrestling Rookie Of The Year: Where Are They Now?

14. 2009: Frightmare

Essa Rios Lita
CHIKARA

Not to reduce the WON voter base to a bunch of workrate nerds who go all slack-jawed when they see cool movez, but it's easy to ascertain why Frightmare was awarded the nod. He did a lot of cool movez. His Kneecolospy was awesome - no less a legend than Kota Ibushi drew inspiration from it - but he was more or less a high spot merchant who while spectacular never evolved past a certain level.

He wrestles only sporadically these days, if at all. If he's still doing dates in 2023, Cagematch has no idea.
