Every WWE Championship And The Match That Defined It

19. WWE Tag Team Championship (2002-2010) - Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle Vs Edge & Rey Mysterio (No Mercy 2002)

Finn Balor Seth Rollins
WWE Network

A mesmerising match to launch what were - temporarily at least - the most prestigious titles in the entire organisation, the tournament final pitting fiery underdogs Edge & Rey Mysterio against wrestling machines Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit benefitted from those natural contrasts in creating one of the finest doubles matches in company history. The 'SmackDown Six' era that existed in its shadow served as Paul Heyman's biggest booking triumph during his complex time under Vince McMahon's thumb.
