A SummerSlam show-stealer from a division that didn't even really exist beyond these two, Alundra Blayze's futuristic victory over Bull Nakano presented the sort of work beyond 90% of the roster's capabilities. Blayze would lose the title in Japan in November and regain on Raw the following April, but neither encounter matched the eye-opening quality of their maiden main stage bow.
