Every WWE Championship And The Match That Defined It

7. WWF Championship (1998-2002) - The Rock Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin (WrestleMania X7)

One of the greatest matches main eventing one of the greatest ever shows featuring two of the greatest to ever perform - this was WWE's apex for more reasons than just the rampant commercial and critical acclaim. A convergence of everything that had helped bring the company back to the industry's summit taking place days removed from their confirmation of the spot by virtue of the WCW purchase, and it was all second fiddle to the two best wrestlers fighting over the richest prize. This, like Hogan/Andre, was once-in-a-generation stuff.
