Save for a one week switch with Charlotte Flair in order to facilitate her complete character reinvention, Bayley held the SmackDown Women's Championship between Money In The Bank 2019 and Hell In A Cell 2020.

During those 519 days, she headlined pay-per-views with the gold and engaged in the company's best rivalry of an otherwise-miserable 2020 alongside and against Sasha Banks. The belt was retired in 2023 off the back of an awesome Charlotte Flair/Rhea Ripley encounter at WrestleMania 39, and it's a shame the 'Role Model' never managed one more run. In the darkest timeline, it was a constant light at the end of the tunnel.
