Every WWE Hell In A Cell Fall: Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Shawn Michaels – Badd Blood 1997

No one really knew what to expect going into the very first HIAC match. This gave it the benefit of not being compared to any other, making this unexpected drop from Shawn Michaels all the more shocking.

Although it's generally remembered as being the night Kane debuted, the actual HIAC match itself was one of the best ever. Michaels' crash through the announce table was certainly a highlight, but even without it, this fight would have still been a classic encounter between two of the all-time greats.

Today, this fall from half way up looks like ones we’ve seen many times since, but you have to give it to those involved for being the innovators of such a crazy stunt, and for laying the blueprint for all subsequent HIAC matches and moments.
