Every WWE Hell In A Cell Fall: Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Mankind (Chokeslam Through The Cell) – King Of The Ring 1998

Micky Foley has done some pretty crazy things in WWE, and most of them it has to be said, were his idea. However, getting chokeslammed through the cell to the ring below, was not his idea. Nor was it anyone’s; the cage was never supposed to break.

The fact that Foley continued the match after this bump was nothing short of incredible, even if he has since admitted to not remembering much of what followed. Probably for the best, considering what followed was another chokeslam, only this time, on to thumb tacks.

Even though this moment has gone on to be one of the most iconic in the company’s history, the damage inflicted on Foley was long lasting. Nothing highlights that quite like the disturbing image of Foley with a tooth in his nose and a gaping hole under his mouth, which at the time, the commentators misinterpreted as Foley smiling.
