Every WWE Hell In A Cell Fall: Ranked From Worst To Best
2. Cactus Jack (Back Drop Through The Cell) – No Way Out 2000
This was the second of only two times anyone has actually gone through the top of the cell. Both times it was Mick Foley.
Although this backdrop was planned, and the 1998 chokeslam wasn’t, this earns a higher spot for the fact that Foley not only went through the cell but actually went through the ring as well.
This was an explosive end to an amazing match that was a masterclass in hardcore wrestling. Although he returned for WrestleMania a month later (and a bunch of other times), this felt like the exclamation mark at the end of a career full of high risk spots and unbelievable moments.
Despite clearly trying to outdo it, the match didn’t quite better his King of the Ring encounter with ‘Taker, but it was a valiant effort and still one of the best HIAC matches of all time.
