21. Alberto Del Rio Vs. The Big Show - Royal Rumble 2013
Of course, it wasn’t just the big men that Big Show would tangle with in Last Man Standing action. At the Royal Rumble 2013, he went up against Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship, having only lost the belt a couple of weeks prior (more on that one later).
Perhaps the best moment in this one arrived when Del Rio took a tumble through a table on a stage, a spot that can’t have been at all fun to take.
Though the finish was a little wacky - Ricardo Rodriguez duct-taping Big Show’s leg to the bottom rope- it was nice to see they were wise enough to avoid simply stealing the finish to the match they had in the lead up to the show.
All in all, though, this one didn’t quite compare to that previous meeting, as we’ll see later in this list…
