Yet another case of trying to take advantage of the heat at its (theoretical) peak and justifying stamping an L on Ronda Rousey's head, Liv Morgan's cash-in generated a monster response in the building and felt like just reward for a performer that had built an enormous following for herself in spite of so much stop-start WWE-brand nonsense over the years.

As has been the case too often though, little thought was given to the follow up. The cash-in tarred her with a paper champion brush, and listless booking in rematches against 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' didn't help her cause.

By the time she ate some sh*t in a way far more convincing that a stolen victory, the magic had gone. Unlike...
