If fans had to pick a WWE superstar to feature in the Raw go-home shot before 'Mania in 2017, Bill Goldberg might not have been their first choice. In fact, he probably wouldn't have been their second, third or fourth pick either.
And yet, here he was. Bill Goldberg - the first man on this list who'd ever hold the WWE Universal Championship in the go-home slot.
Back to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33, the pair were hoping to exorcise the demons of their 'Mania XX misfire. Goldberg had been presented time and time again as having The Beast's number, and after delivering a spear to Lesnar to close out the show, the rhetoric didn't seem to be changing anytime soon.
