Every WWE Royal Rumble's Best Performer

To many (and most definitely to your writer), the 1992 Royal Rumble is the very best Rumble of all time.

With the WWF Championship up for grabs for the winner, the star power on show here was ridiculous. Sure, there was the regular proportion of jobbers that every Rumble match has, but there were also major names like The Undertaker, Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, Jake Roberts, Ted DiBiase, Davey Boy Smith, Shawn Michaels, Jimmy Snuka, Sgt. Slaughter, Sid Justice, Hulk Hogan and, of course, eventual winner Ric Flair. Oh, and Virgil. We mustn't forget Virgil.

1992 would famously be all about A Flair for the Gold as the Nature Boy entered at #3 before lasting over an hour to become the WWF Champion.

The match itself was perfectly used in how it allowed feuds of yesteryear to resurface whilst also laying the foundations for what was to come down the line, but it was Flair who was easily the star of the show here in the greatest Royal Rumble performance ever.

There's no debating it: Ric Flair's 1992 Royal Rumble showing was a true masterclass.
